EndoSan8 is a highly effective disinfectant capable of destroying bacteria, fungus, viruses (enveloped and nonenveloped), spores and amoeba. It disinfects via an oxidising process that destroys microorganisms while decomposing into water and oxygen.

EndoSan8 falls below the concentration limit for hazardous goods transport making it ideal for quick shipping with less transport requirements compared with stronger hydrogen peroxide concentrations. This also makes EndoSan8 safer to handle and store compared to higher concentrations.

EndoSan8 can be used to shock disinfect smaller water systems providing effective water disinfection without the manual handling concerns of higher strength products. Some examples of water systems and the required EndoSan8 dose are:

Instructions For Use - Shock Disinfection

Before starting, ensure people on site are informed about the disinfection process being undertaken and that the water should not be used until it is safe to do so. Water system outlets must be secured, warning notices displayed that the water must not be ingested.

1. Drain the water storage tank and physically clean the internals.
2. For thorough disinfection spray tank internals with EndoSan3. Leave in place for 60 minutes.
3. Partially refill the tank with fresh water to a level sufficient to pull water throughout the complete water system.
4. During the partial tank refill add the required amount of EndoSan8 based on required ppm level and contact time. Our dosage calculator can help determine the amount required: https://www.endosan.com/dosage-calculator/
5. Starting with the furthest outlet from the tank pull through the freshly dosed water from the tank to all outlets. Use test strips to check the level of peroxide from the outlets and make a note.
6. Leave the system to disinfect for the specified time. Please ensure systems have suitable venting to release any generated oxygen build-up.
7. On completion of the disinfection period allow tank to refill with fresh water and flush through to every outlet. Flush each outlet until all signs of removed biofilm/contaminated water are clear and hydrogen peroxide level is at safe levels.

The system MUST be vented during the disinfection procedure. When in contact with organic matter hydrogen peroxide will decompose to water and oxygen causing significant oxygen build up in the system. Lack of venting can cause pipe bursts and leakage.
